Joanne Greenberg

Joanne Greenberg taught English and advanced acting classes for over 30 years at U-32 High School, where she directed more than 50 major productions. Since retiring, Greenberg has started an improv troupe, and has directed several plays, including Marjorie Prime, The Whale, Bad Jews, True West, Proof and The Understudy (Vermont Actors’ Repertory Theatre), and Raggedy And (Chandler Theater Pride Festival). At Phantom Theater her directing credits include Constellations (also at VCFA through Open Door), Gruesome Playground Injuries (also at Lost Nation Theater) Authorial Intent, The Dirty Talk and Sure Thing. She also has directed several staged readings and taught acting and directing classes, independently and at Community College of Vermont.
